What Is WordPress?

In short, WordPress is one of the best Content Management Systems.  It is the engine behind your website that lets a business owner have complete control of their online marketing.

In todays marketing arena, business owners need to have full control and ease of use of their online media.  WordPress enables you to be able to change your website on a minute by minute basis, it is not only a blogging medium but can now be implemented in Ecommerce and Brochure websites.

Yes, no, don’t know!  Well if you had a website designed by myself and integrated with WordPress you could have a website that your customers could converse with you on a daily basis, give you feedback about your products and your business, you can share your business instantaneously with thousands if not millions of people with the click of a button!!  Yes it’s true.

WordPress is Infinite because it is a feature rich platform with no upper limit on scalability, you can change your website when you want and it can be adapted to whatever functionality you need.  Thousands of clever developers all around the world constantly create modules that can be integrated with your website.

A good analogy

It is very similar to the iPhone application technology which is taking the world by storm and works in a very similar way, if you have an iPhone you can easily and quickly find a specific application and download it for immediate use, the more sophisticated and well thought out premium applications have to be bought – this is like WordPress, the majority of web applications are free but the more premium applications have to be bought.

This website has been designed and integrated with WordPress – do you think it looks like a blog? Or would you say it is very clean in appearance and practical with information.

What else can I do? If I press one button on my WordPress dashboard I can post some news instantly to over 128 social media platforms, I write what I want to say, then press a button and I have reached over 2 billion people, I’m not saying all will respond but a select few do and then what – oh they would like me to create them a website or converse with me about web politics or whatever I want to talk about.

How is this beneficial?

If you have some understanding about how to be found on Google, you will have heard at some stage about links, back-links, reciprocal links, useful links and so on, well imagine your post, article or tweet when you submit it to all these billions of people, who then click the link, find your website and then create a post on their website (which is a link) and then click on other links, share your link with all their buddies and so on.  This method is a sure fire way of being able to sell more products and get a lot more interest in your business.  Have a look at my video on my Home page to get a feel for what I am trying to say.
